Look no further for your Voron 2.4 Kit – we have carefully sourced all the core components that you’ll need to build your very own Voron 2.4 R2. Available in all 2 sizes.  The 2.4 R2 designed by Voron Design is arguably the best DIY 3D Printer project out there.

The Voron 2.4 R2 Kit includes all the core hardware that you will need to build your Voron. You will need to source your own 3D Printed parts, print them yourself or get them from us. The beauty of the Voron 2.4 is just how customizable it is. You can easily swap out core components for upgrades and modify them to your liking. The best part of all, is that you have to build the kit, so working on it will be a breeze. Our Kit includes a Phaetus Dragon High-Flow hotend that will allow you to use it in a Direct Drive Configuration (Afterburner).

For the different options please hover the question mark next to the selected option for additional information! You can upgrade to the LDO motors, simplify cabling, add the input shaper (PI required) or replace the hotend.

Kit does not include the printed parts – we do offer full and functional kits. With the functional kit you can assemble the unit to a point where you can print the other parts yourself.

1. If you have never touched a 3D printer, do not buy this kit.
2. It is recommended you read the assembly manual in completion before committing to purchase and build a kit.
3. Please note that we do not provide technical / building support for these kits but there are video guides and hints and tips online.

Features & Extras

• Stainless Steel Linear Rails – 12H size rails for X axis included. No more worrying about rusty rails. You’ll still want to grease these rails, but you can do it at the end of your build.
• Small Tools – We include a small set of Allen key with ball head pack 2mm/3mm/4mm/5mm each size 1 pc.
• Aluminium Build Plate – MIC6 354*354*8mm build plate imported from USA.
• Arlon Silicone AC Heater – Edge to Edge special design with built in thermal fuse – so no extra assembly step for that.
• Genuine Phaetus Dragon High-Flow hotend.
• BTT Octopus v1.1 Control Board

Add-ons & Upgrades

• The hotend is optional and you can choose a different one
• You can upgrade to LDO motors if you prefer
• You can add the LDO Heat Insert Tool Kit
• You can add the ready wiring hardness for Octopus/Afterburner including the Afterburner Tool Head PCB Board 4.0, the X/Y Axis Limit Switch XH2.54 4PIN PCB Board, and the Z Axis Endstop PCB Board. If you add this, we’ll leave all standard connectors in the set in addition.

Tips

• Take advantage of the Voron on Discord: https://discord.gg/voron. The community is very active on Discord and the users are very helpful on the #voron_2_questions channel.
• Download Fusion 360 and get a free license to view the 3D model of the printer. The 3D model is a very useful reference when you encounter anything in the manual that is ambiguous or unclear.
• Check out Thomas Sanladerer’s and/or Nero 3DP’s Youtube channel, they have tons of videos on assembling Voron printers.
• Print a Voron Cube!
• Get a serial number once you finish building your Voron.

Guides

• Printed Parts: Since printed parts are NOT included with the kit, it’s recommended to get them here if you are unable to print them for yourself.  These are the essential parts for a very reasonable cost to get your printer working. Refer to the Part Printing Guidelines section of the official assembly manual for general print settings. For the latest parts files, visit the Voron Github repository. If you do not have the means to print your own parts in ABS, the Voron Print It Forward program is a great option to obtain the parts at a very reasonable cost or you can get them from us if in stock.
• Wiring Guide – LDO have created this supplementary wiring guide which is similar to this kit. We recommend reading the guide ahead of time: Some cable routing is required while you assemble the mechanical components. Also look at the Octopus wiring directions.
