PolyMide™ is a family of Nylon/polyamide based filaments. Produced with Polymaker’s Warp-Free™ technology, PolyMide™ filaments deliver engineering properties intrinsic to Nylon and ease of printing. PolyMide™ CoPA is based on a copolymer of Nylon 6 and Nylon 6,6. The filament combines excellent strength, toughness, and heat resistance of up to 180˚C.
The 0.75kg reel is made of cardboard.
We recommend that this material be used with the PolyBox™ to keep it at dry conditions (relative humidity of 15% or less) at all times to maintain the best printing results.
PolyMide™ CoPA features Warp-Free technology:
Warp-Free™ – Warp-Free™ technology enables the production of Nylon-based filaments that can be 3D printed with excellent dimensional stability and near-zero warpage. This is achieved by the fine control of microstructure and crystallization behaviour of Nylon, which enables the material to fully release the internal stress before solidification. The WarpFree™ technology in PolyMide™ CoPA is designed to work best with minimal bed temperatures.
Features:
Excellent Toughness – The outstanding mechanical strength and toughness makes PolyMide™ CoPA an excellent choice for engineering based applications.
Excellent Heat Resistance – With a high softening temperature of up to 180 °C, PolyMide™ CoPA is one of the most heat resistant 3D printing materials on the market.
Improved Printability – Unlike many other Nylon filaments, PolyMide™ CoPA is extremely easy to work with, exhibiting excellent dimensional stability when compared to other nylon filaments. It is compatible with most filament-based 3D printers with no heated bed or chamber required!
Wear Resistant – Parts printed in PolyMide™ CoPA display excellent wear resistance.
Uncompromised Quality – Polymakers leading quality control process and rigorous inhouse testing ensure reliable printing and consistency across spools and batches.
PolyMide™ CoPA displays outstanding mechanical and thermal properties when fully crystallized. The printed part will not reach full crystallization after the printing process, an additional step is required: Annealing.
You can anneal PolyMide™ CoPA by placing your part in the oven at 80˚C for 6h.
PolyMide™ CoPA can be printed on a 30-40˚C bed without enclosure.
